Eli Herscovitch

Eli has a total of three Juno Nominations, as a member of Danny Koulack’s band  and member of  Finjan for 15 years. He is friends and played in Sid Robinovitch’s band. He’s played at Jazz Festival and received a standing ovation when with Symphony Orchestra at the New Music Festival Gala Opening.

Eli recorded music for the CBC television series, “Newsroom” and has played in a quartet at Jazz Festival 2013, 2015, at the Rady JCC’s series Music & Mavens, and on Billy Joe Green’s current Cd, where he played Blues harmonica. His diverse background includes many live theatre productions at Rainbow Stage, Pantages Playhouse,  and Manitoba Theatre Centre, playing for Danny Schur in the original orchestra of  “Strike” and  recently in soundtrack for his movie, the Terry Sawchuk story. At previous Limmud, Eli presented from Bialystoc, Solomon Ary’s bio and a short story with music.
