Ari Weinberg

This is Ari’s first season as Winnipeg Jewish Theatre’s Artistic Director. Ari is currently on faculty at Sheridan College, his alma mater, as Internship Advisor. He was intern Artistic Director at Acting Up Stage Company in Toronto, Discovery Coordinator for Markham Theatre and is a certified teaching artist through York University and the Stratford Festival. Directing: Hugh and I (Toronto Fringe); Godspell (Theatre Sheridan) Assistant Directing: The Wild Party (Acting Up Stage); Salt-Water Moon (1000 Islands Playhouse); Sweeney Todd (Theatre Sheridan); Anyone Can Whistle (Talk Is Free). Selected Acting: Romeo and Juliet (RMTC); Peter Pan (Stratford Festival); Hana’s Suitcase (Magnus Theatre); Merry Wives of Windsor, Man of LaMancha (Theatre By the Bay).
